The transformation to an all-electric society means our industrialised world needs ever more electric power to survive and meet the demand of a growing consumption. Networks of towering powerlines close to our human habitats visually remind us of our hunger for electricity.
Through the juxtaposition of these soaring infrastructures with settings that we typically associate with leisure and recreational activities I investigate the seemingly harmonious coexistence between technology and nature and explore how the challenges posed by the energy transition are manifested in the built environment.
